Get Rid of Pet Odors and Stains For Good
Is your home starting to smell like Fido? Are pet odors and stains plaguing your living area, where your guests gather? Hopefully they havenβt noticed yet! But if so, thatβs okay, weβre here to help! Pet urine is one of the strongest, most difficult odors to remove-but weβve got this. Below youβll find tips and tricks for removing pet odors and stains, and weβll also explain what we can do for you!
Removing the Urine Scent
Did you know that you can use vinegar and baking soda to remove a urine scent from your carpet? Start by mixing one part water with one part white vinegar. Let it soak for at least 10 minutes before allowing it to dry. Just before itβs completely dry, sprinkle baking soda over the area; it helps to absorb the odor! After fifteen minutes, vacuum the area completely. Afterward, you shouldnβt be able to smell any trace of Fido!
Stain Removal Tips
Start by absorbing the stain with wet paper towels! Use a liberal amount, and cover them with a heavy object to help the towels absorb the moisture. After youβve absorbed the liquid, rinse the area by spraying water onto the stain. To prevent the sprayed water from moving the urine outward in a circle, spray from the outside perimeter, and work your way inward. Next, use an enzymatic cleaner to break down the urine particles, and effectively remove the stain from your flooring!
